Epigenetics & Chromatin: Interactions and processes
BioMed Central held its first conference on Epigenetics & Chromatin: interactions and processes in Boston from 11-13 March 2013. Thanks to everyone who attended and made it such a stimulating and interactive meeting. We look forward to welcoming you all back to Boston when the meeting is held again in March 2015.
By bringing together speakers in ten distinct but related areas of epigenetic research, the aim of the conference was to shed light on dynamic chromatin processes that connect genotype to phenotype. Each oral session was led by a distinguished leader in the field, and included terrific high-quality talks by both invited speakers and participants selected from the abstracts.
Congratulations to the poster prize winners:
1st prize: Shinpei Yamaguchi (Abstract P89)
2nd prize: Lindsy Rapkin (P121)
Equal 3rd prize: Dawn Carone (P110) and Angelika Feldmann (P16)
The abstracts from the conference have been published in the journal Epigenetics & Chromatin and can be found here.
To mark the conference, Epigenetics & Chromatin has launched a new thematic series of publications based around the general themes discussed.
